A few weeks ago a new Handsome Furs video was released and that kind made me wonder about a new Wolf Parade release. So i just digged into my keyboard for a few minutes and i found this:
Sigur Rós break their two-year silence to release their first-ever film and a companion album later this autumn.
This DVD features small shows from their last summer tour around Iceland.
"Heima" was directed by Dean DeBlois, a long-time fan of the band and director of the Oscar-nominated animated feature 'Lilo & Stitch'.
"Heima" will be released on November 5th as a Special Edition double DVD package with a 104-page book containing stunning photos from the tour. It will also be released as a standard 2-DVD set.
I can only say that this footage really makes me want to go to Iceland!

This is not my favourite Andrew Birds' song. This title goes to Plasticities or Fake Palindromes (don't know yet). Still this is a very, very good song as every other by Mr. Bird, so I couldn’t really refrain from posting it anyhow!
It is a weird video though, with some kind of spiders made of jewel, school black boards and scientific experiments… Well, everything to love!
