Portishead is due to release their next album on the 31 March next year.
Lets hope it's true this time.
When the album finally sees the light of day, it will be the much lauded outfit’s first release in a decade, following 1994’s ‘Dummy’ and their eponymous second album in 1998.
Meanwhile, Geoff Barrow, Beth Gibbons and Adrian Utley are curating All Tomorrows Parties’ Nightmare Before Christmas in Minehead from December 7-9, featuring the likes of Ladytron, Black Mountain, Autolux, Julian Cope and Malcolm Middleton.
Os Portishead vão actuar/organizar a All Tomorow's Party Nightmare Before Christmas a decorrer nos dias 7 a 9 de Dezembro na cidade de Minehead, Inglaterra. É a primeira actuação em dez anos que vai incluir músicas novas (se excluirmos a apresentação surpresaem Fevereiro).
A banda escreveu no myspace: "We have always loved the All Tomorrow's Parties set up and we're happy our first shows will be there,"(...) "It's great to have the opportunity to introduce bands we love or have influenced us. We've chosen a diverse collection of artists to play with us and we're really looking forward to it"
...mas esta foi gravada no mês passado, numa aparição surpresa em Bristol (1ª aparição desde o concerto da Oxfam Hurricane Relief). Conta quem viu/ouviu que eles também tocaram uma música nova, mas disso não há registo (que conveniente, não??!) Apesar da má iluminação é sempre bom ouvir esta voz.
